Today, the daughter of one of our housemates had a birthday. She is one. So, we had a party. We also had an E
aster egg hunt since we didn't do one on Easter.
As always, I have to show the food!! Here's a plate full of
rolex. A
rolex is a chapati (kind of like a think, tortilla) filled with egg and tomato and then rolled up. It's street food and it's good. We get them from a guy down the hill for 1000 shillings each (about .40).
Our friend and driver, David, had never hunted Easter eggs. They don't do that in Uganda. So, we told him he had to find all the blue eggs. Here he is finding one!
Also, MORE cupcakes! They were excellent!
So, G and I are headed to court tomorrow at 2:30 in the afternoon. Hope I'm able to post some excellent news tomorrow. Pray, pray, pray!
